The ASN is at the heart of the standardisation process

ASN represents Senegal in regional and international standardization bodies.

As such, ASN is:

• a full member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
• Member of the Affiliate Country Programme of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC);
• a founding member of the African Regional Standards Organisation (ARSO)
• Member of the African Electrotechnical Standardization Commission (AFSEC);
• Member of the Institute of Standardization and. Member of the Standards and Metrology Institute of Islamic Countries (SMIIC);
• Member of the Francophone Standardization Network (RNF);
• Member of CODEX through the National Codex Alimentarius and coordinator of the Codex General Principles Committee
