The ASN is at the heart of the standardisation process

ASN represents Senegal in regional and international standardization bodies.
As such, ASN is:
- a full member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
- Member of the Affiliate Country Programme of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC);
- a founding member of the African Regional Standards Organisation (ARSO)
- Member of the African Electrotechnical Standardization Commission (AFSEC);
- Member of the Institute of Standardization and. Member of the Standards and Metrology Institute of Islamic Countries (SMIIC);
- Member of the Francophone Standardization Network (RNF);
- Member of CODEX through the National Codex Alimentarius and coordinator of the Codex General Principles Committee
