ISO/IEC TR 29181-8:2017 describes the problem statements of current networks and the requirements for Future Network (FN) in the Quality of Service (QoS) perspective. This document mainly specifies:

- problems of the current networks for QoS;

- requirements for QoS support in Future Network.
